Different Cultures Pregnancy Tales or Rules?

I know all different cultures have there own opinion and way of doing things when it comes to pregnancy and birth I find it very interesting. Such as a lady the other day told me not to eat sea food for 3 months if I breast feed or if I had a c section because it would make the scar pop out. My grandmother told me to eat a lot of oranges if I want the babys skin to be clean when he is born. One say if you take a hot bath and drink a certain tea it will help induce labor ect. Weather people believe in it or not it is very interesting to me. What is your cultures tales or rules during pregnancy or do you know of any. If so make sure to write what nationality it is coming from. I would really appreciate it. Thank You

the town I lived in when I was preggo with my daughter had a pizza place people would swear could induce labor with a certain pizza it sold.

I was also told to never put my hands above my head because it would cause the umbelical cord to choke the baby

I could use any information on the care ,training etc on a choodle puppy I have one that is six months old.?

I don't know of anyone who has this type dog so any and all information would be appreciated. Mine is a male 6 months old and I'm in the process of training on the pee pads Everybody has told me something different to bath him with , foods and etc. So I would loke to hear from someone who accually has the long haired chichiuhua and half poodle mix so they could tell me from expereince.Thanks to all

I have one of these dogs, but the actually name for them is a Chi-Poo. Mine's named Baby and before I trained her, trust me I thought she was sent straight from the pits of hell to terrorize me lol. But when i tried to get her to use pee pads it didnt work, she chewed them. I found it worked better to teach her to go outside. As far as food goes, shes at a healthy weight and very energetic from eating Purina Puppy Chow. As far as bathing goes, I usually bathe her in this stuff I get from Pet Smart but I cant remember the name. Its in a green bottle though. And it doesnt cost a lot either. Hope this helps......REIGH
